What is progressive bulbar palsy?
Progressive Bulbar Palsy (PBP), also known as progressive bulbar atrophy, is a type of motor neuron disease that affects the nerves that supply the bulbar muscles, those muscles that control speech, swallowing and chewing. PBP may also result in weakness of the facial muscles and tongue.
