What is Loeys-Dietz syndrome?
Loeys Dietz syndrome is a connective tissue disorder characterized by weakened outpouchings of the aorta (aortic aneurysms) in children. In Loeys-Dietz syndrome, the aortic aneurysms may rupture at a smaller size than other aneurysms.
