What is chronic rejection of lung transplant?

Chronic rejection is classified pathologically as either chronic vascular rejection or chronic airway rejection. Chronic airway rejection, which can be identified by the presence of bronchiolitis obliterans, is the more common and morbid of the two types of rejection.
