What is medication-induced diabetes mellitus?

In addition to steroid-induced diabetes other medications are associated with drug-induced diabetes mellitus. Some categories of drugs known to influence blood glucose and precipitate diabetes mellitus include antidepressants, second generation antipsychotics, and anti-rejection drugs.
