What is esophagitis?

Esophagitis is an acute or chronic inflammatory process affecting the esophageal wall (the tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach) caused by bacteria, chemical or trauma.

Reports may be affected by other conditions and/or medication side effects. We ask about general symptoms (anxious mood, depressed mood, fatigue, pain, and stress) regardless of condition.
