What is hypochondria?

Hypochondriasis is a persistent preoccupation with the possibility of having one or more serious and progressive physical disorders. Normal or commonplace sensations and appearances are often interpreted as abnormal and distressing.

Reports may be affected by other conditions and/or medication side effects. We ask about general symptoms (anxious mood, depressed mood, fatigue, pain, and stress) regardless of condition.
