What is endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia?

Endometrial Intraepithelial Neoplasia (EIN) is a condition of having a pre-cancerous lesion in the endometrium, the inner lining of the uterus. This lesion is due to uncontrolled reproduction of the cells which may progress to endometrial cancer over time.
