What is Horner's syndrome?

Horner's syndrome is a rare condition affecting the nerves to the eye and face. It can cause drooping eyelid, small pupil, and decreased sweating on the affected side of the face. The condition sometimes results from an injury to the nerve but it can also be present from birth.

Reports may be affected by other conditions and/or medication side effects. We ask about general symptoms (anxious mood, depressed mood, fatigue, pain, and stress) regardless of condition.
