What is autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy?

Autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy (AAG) is a rare disorder characterized by the failure of the autonomic nervous system. Those with this condition have antibodies that are incorrectly directed against a specific receptor in their own autonomic ganglia cells.
