What is plantar fascial fibromatosis?

Plantar fascial fibromatosis, also known as Ledderhose Disease, is characterized as non-cancerous thick nodules located at the underside of the foot (plantar fascia). Depending on the size and location of the nodules, it may make walking painful and uncomfortable.
