What is episodic ataxia?

Episodic ataxia is a recurrent condition that affects the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Some symptoms include, sporadic episodes of poor coordination and balance (ataxia), dizziness, and slurred speech. There are about 7 types of episodic ataxia.
