What is brain abscess?

A brain abscess is a localized collection of pus that is surrounded by swelling due to inflammation of the area. Abscesses occur when an area of tissue becomes infected and the body's immune system tries to fight it. Some symptoms include, confusion, drowsiness, and slowed thought process.
