What is carbon monoxide poisoning?

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless gas produced by burning material containing carbon, e.g. combustion fumes produced by cars and trucks, gas ranges, and heating systems. Carbon monoxide poisoning is exposure to too much carbon monoxide, this can cause brain damage and death.
