What is idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis?
Idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis is a rare condition found primarily in children that causes recurrent blood collection within the lung's alveoli; this causes a disruption in the exchange of O2 and CO2. Common symptoms include, cough, shortness of breath, and anemia.
