Basal cell nevus syndrome is a rare genetic (passed down through the family) condition, that involves the skin, nervous system, eyes, endocrine glands, and bones. It is accompanied by basal cell skin cancer, as well as other symptoms: broad nose, wide set eyes, blindness, and a spinal curvature.
