What is venous insufficiency?

Venous insufficiency is a condition in which the veins have problems sending blood from the legs back to the heart. The valves in veins are either damaged or missing. Some symptoms include swelling in the lower extremities, dull, achy, and heaviness in the legs.

Reports may be affected by other conditions and/or medication side effects. We ask about general symptoms (anxious mood, depressed mood, fatigue, pain, and stress) regardless of condition.
