What is vitamin B2 deficiency?

Vitamin B2 is also known as riboflavin, it is an essential nutrient found in meat, beans and vegetables. The body needs it for energy, growth, and red blood cell production. Bread, milk, and cereals are often fortified with B vitamins. A deficiency in B2 can lead to anemia, mouth, and lip sores.
