What is circadian rhythm sleep disorder?

Circadian rhythm sleep disorder is associated with disruption of the normal 24 hour sleep wake cycle that keeps a person from maintaining a schedule that allows for daytime wakefulness and nighttime sleeping. It may be due to work schedule, shift work and travel.
