What is frostbite?

Frostbite is the exposure of the skin to extreme cold weather for a long period of time. Loss of feeling to the area is possible or alternatively, there may be an aching pain. As the area thaws, pain and tingling may occur. Prolonged exposure may cause long term damage to the skin.

How do members experience frostbite?
