What is Oxandrolone?

Oxandrolone is an androgen used as adjunctive therapy to promote weight gain after surgery, chronic infections, or severe trauma, and in some patients who fail to gain or maintain normal weight; to offset protein catabolism with prolonged corticosteroid administration and for osteoporosis bone pain.
