Amla is an extract of Emblica Officinalis, a deciduous tree found in Asia. It has been shown in clinical studies to reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol by 16% while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol by 25% in addition to regulating blood sugar and preventing lipid peroxidation.
