What is Chlorhexidine Mouthwash?

Chlorhexidine mouthwash is an antibacterial dental rinse. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, facultative anaerobes, aerobes, and yeast. Some products, such as Peridex, require a prescription.
