What is Kariva?

Generic name for Kariva is ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel. It used to prevent pregnancy. Off label use includes treatment of hypermenorrhea (menorrhagia); pain associated with endometriosis; dysmenorrhea; dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
