What is Copaxone?
Copaxone® (glatiramer) is a brand name drug that contains four amino acids: L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-lysine and L-tyrosine. It is used for relapsing-remitting MS, not as a cure but to reduce the frequency and severity of relapses. Copaxone is administered as a subcutaneous injection.
