What is Minocycline?
Minocycline is a second-generation, long-acting tetracycline. It is indicated in the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections, including brain and meningeal infections; it is ten times better able to enter the brain than other tetracycline antibiotics. A European trial in ALS starts in 2007.
