Duexis is a combination medication that contains famotidine and ibuprofen. It is used to treat the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It is used in patients who have an increased risk for stomach ulcers and who need to take a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs).
