What is Fondaparinux?

Fondaparinux is a Factor Xa Inhibitor that is used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients undergoing hip replacement, knee replacement, hip fracture, or abdominal surgery; treatment of acute pulmonary embolism (PE).
