What is Dabigatran?
Dabigatran is an anticoagulant, thrombin inhibitor used for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation and postoperative thromboprophylaxis in patients who have undergone total hip or knee replacement procedures.
