Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Bicarbonate and Citric Acid are used for the treatment of chronic metabolic acidosis, in treatment of patients with uric acid and cystine calculi of the urinary tract and in conjunction with uricosurics in gout therapy to prevent uric acid nephropathy.
