What is Abacavir ABC?

Abacavir is used in combination with other medications to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in patients with or without acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Abacavir is in a class of antiviral medications called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs).
