What is Lovenox? Lovenox is the brand name for Enoxaparin, a form of the anticoagulant Heparin. It is used to prevent deep vein thromboses by thinning the blood and so reducing the likelihood of a clot forming. It is used in ALS/MND because long periods of remaining immobile increase the risk of a DVT developing.
