What is Roxanol?

Roxanol™ is a brand name for immediate release morphine sulfate. It is used when rapid acting relief is needed for moderate to severe acute and chronic pain; for pain associated with myocardial infarction; relief of shortness of breath related to heart failure and pulmonary edema.
