What is Effient?

Effient™ is a brand of prsaugrel, an antiplatelet agent. It reduces rate of thrombotic cardiovascular events (eg, stent thrombosis) in patients with unstable angina, non-ST-segment elevation MI, or ST-elevation MI (STEMI) managed with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
