As I use a TENS machine that has a heat option as well, the effect on joint pain due to climatic conditions is fantastic. The only problem is while using the heat setting is that there are some areas of my body which has limited sensation so very often I cannot tell how hot things are...in these areas I have a max/min setting that I stick to. Also having epilepsy and IHD there are many no go zones basically any area below my chest (nipples) OK but not above.
