Advice & Tips
I spent years working as a journeyman plumber; I did all but the most major maintenance on my vehicles; I did all my own home renovations/maintenance, Now I can't even hammer, use a power saw, or mow the lawn (we lost our house anyway), and can barely climb a few steps up a step ladder. Losing these abilities has been by far the most difficult aspect of my MS. I no longer can even change the oil in my car. Enough feeling sorry . . . I am blessed - no pain, still walking, able to do ADLs, loving family & friends . . . . . . .
