What is Carbidopa-Levodopa CR? A controlled release preparation of carbidopa/levodopa formulated to release a lower, smoother dose of medication. It is sometimes taken last thing at night in order to maintain dopamine levels throughout sleep and into the morning.

Advice/Tips
I was placed on this medicine to confirm my diagnosis of PD. I felt immediate results. However, the meds had to be taken at exactly the moment it was due. If I was just a bit late, I could tell the symptoms come back. It would be several hours before I returned to my former self.
