Advice & Tips: This was originally given to me as an anti-depressent that is supposed to help with pain. I am not aware of any negative side effects. While I am still always in pain, I can only assume, it would be alot worse without the Cymbalta. The unexpected benefit came as a result of my dosage being doubled for Fibro. Given a number of constant and occasionally overwhelming pressures I am living with, I find it remarkable I haven't gone into any deep depressions and I believe it due to the additional dosage

Advice & Tips: Cymbalta was a like a miracle drug for me when I first started taking it. I can tell if I have forgotten to take it or haven't refilled my script. I highly recommend it for treatment of Fibromyalgia. I still experience some depression, but that is probably normal for someone living in chronic pain.

Advice & Tips: I was told to take this at night to help with fibro and sciatic pain at night. I didn't sleep well, was wakeful, but did help pain. I've started taking it in the morning, and it helps the pain and I don't want to sleep as much during the day now. It has helped with pain and depression. I was given a huge bag of samples to last til next appt. Don't know the cost, but do know my ins won't cover it!

Advice & Tips: this med definitely helped my mood, but i had absolutely no libido, not ok when im engaged to be married in a year (not that thats ever "ok") also the side effects were so sever, with no warning from my dr, i couldn't even function. please take into consideration that even if this med works for you, the side effects when going off can be extremely sever.

Advice & Tips: Potential unexpected benefits: improved incontinence Be VERY careful and take your time weening yourself off, after discussing with dr, of course! Cost kept increasing so I was considering going off of it. Finally, I was losing my insurance and I definitely could not afford to keep taking it! I thought it wasn't helping anymore but, after getting off of it, it appears it was helping after all, unless it is a coincidence that my health plummeted since!
