Advice & Tips: I developed a severe rash or skin condition upon increased dosage of D3 - about 4000IU. I've been off the D3 for almost 3 weeks now and the condition persists. A biopsy has been done, but the only answer or description the dermatologist could give me was "a minor skin inflamation". It may be minor, but it has persisted for 6 1/2 months.

Advice & Tips: I developed a rash on my shoulders in 06/09. I took a break for a week, but the rash remained so I went back to 3200IU daily. The rash stayed the same. I later increased to 4000IU daily. Rash became more active around 10/15/09 and started itching and spread slightly to neck and chest. Reduced dose to 2000IU on 10/18/09. Seeing dermatologist today - 10/21/09.
