Advice & Tips:
I realized that long term use of this drug has been affecting me in ways that are hard to explain. I am pretty sure that it is part of the reason I feel sluggish and foggy minded a lot. I didn't feel that way when I started taking it some 6 years ago but recently realized that i was feeling this way and it was not the depression. I stopped taking Vicodin eight days ago and it was a bit strange at first -- detoxing and getting used to using the Aleve more but I do feel better than I thought I would now.

Advice & Tips:
I am very conscientious about controlling my constipation with a variety of rememdies: 1) High fiber diet of whole grains, vegetables and fruit. 2) Exercise helps to stimulate the peristalsis in my GI tract healthy. 3) Naturalax once or twice a week alternating with a tea made by Traditional Medicinals called "Chocolate Smooth Move" which is very effective. They make a plain Smooth Move also that I don't find effective but I guess others do.
