On the 13th I bumped up to 6mg. So far I cannot attest to any benefit or side effect (except the insomnia and sleepiness like Requip. Watching closely to the BIG side affects that I've been warned about. More later.

I just started Mirapex ER April 9, 2010. I will keep a weekly update to let you know what happens. This is a switch from 24mg Requip XL to 3mg going up to 6mg Mirapex ER. I should not experience any of the sickness because my brain is already used to 24mg agonist. Dr Dewey says I still need to watch out for the compulsive side effects, "they can start at ay time".

Mirapex worked well for awhile by itself, then seemed to become less effective. Side effects were not a major problem. Tried combining it with Sinemet with no apparent benefit. Sinemet by itself seems to work best for me at this time.

The Mirapex is not working very good any more the tremors are back only they turned in to jerks and shakes.
