If taking ibuprofen have to know it may cause some water retention ( sweeling in limbs ). But it did help offset the pain and sometimes fever associated w/ the avonex injection.

Fenbid Gel is Ibuprofen in Gel form and I rub it into the affected areas of painfullness - its great for my hand and knee pain :) And if applied regularly I find that it gives oood enough releif in the instant. No side effects.
