  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Major
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: A little
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: 9 months after being dx with ALS, I noticed that my voice in 2009 stabilized. In 2013, my voice and swallowing are basically the same. I give most credit to taking LDN.
Cost: $25-49 monthly

Mar 26, 2012 (Started Feb 10, 2010)

  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Moderate
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Not at all
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: I am seeing many ALS patients loosing their voice. I am convinced that LDN is what prevented me from loosing mine. I started on the drug a couple years ago, noticed an immediate impact, and have not gotten off. My voice is still around which was contrary to my original progression. I still struggle, but most people can understand what I am saying with very little repeating. Please consider using just to see if it works for you.
Cost: < $25 monthly

Dec 14, 2011 (Started Feb 10, 2010)

  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Moderate
  • Side Effects: Mild
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Not at all
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: This seemed to be the reason why I was able to keep my voice. No proof of this fact, but it certainly is the appearance from my perspective.
Cost: < $25 monthly

May 21, 2012 (Started Sep 24, 2011)

  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Slight
  • Perceived effectiveness for Support immune health: Moderate
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Not at all
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: I had to stop in order to begin normast. Because LDN blocks opioid receptors throughout the body for three or four hours, people using medicine that is an opioid agonist, i.e. narcotic medication — such as Ultram (tramadol), morphine, Percocet, Duragesic patch or codeine-containing medication — should not take LDN until such medicine is completely out of one's system.
Cost: $25-49 monthly

Apr 19, 2012 (Started Sep 24, 2011)

  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Moderate
  • Perceived effectiveness for Support immune health: Moderate
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Not at all
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: Less yawning, less saliva. Part of my regimen along with detoxifier and antioxydants. Thanks to this combination some of my muscles are coming back to life! furthermore no cold, no flu. I'll tell you you have to 'take LDN.
Cost: $25-49 monthly

  • Perceived effectiveness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis): Moderate
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Not at all
Dosage: 4.5 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: My chain yawning has been a thing of the past, and I am starting to experience an easier time when food is concerned. There is a noticeable reduction in the number of choking/coughing episodes. My FRS is stable, but this may result from some other aspect of my treatment protocol.
Cost: < $25 monthly
