When I saw my phychiatrist on May 23, 2013 he told me to divide my dose and take 30mg in the morning and 60mg with my night-time medicine. This is supposed to help my fatigue. I still have not felt any different. I am exhausted all the time and I do not think it is from the pain meds that I take. I was tired before I started taking those meds. I have lost my spark!

I think that Cymbalta has totally erased my sex drive. I do not experience drowsiness with Cymbalta. Drug companies have programs to help pay for the Cymbalta.

I take quite a high dose of the Cymbalta and I have to help it out with Abilify so I am not sure exactly how good the Cymbalta really is. It has been approved by the FDA to help with FM pain so it was a good choice that my doctor had made years before the FDA made the announcement. I still feel like I am on the edge of my seat alot of the time and I also take Visteril when needed.

Potential unexpected benefits: improved incontinence Be VERY careful and take your time weening yourself off, after discussing with dr, of course! Cost kept increasing so I was considering going off of it. Finally, I was losing my insurance and I definitely could not afford to keep taking it! I thought it wasn't helping anymore but, after getting off of it, it appears it was helping after all, unless it is a coincidence that my health plummeted since!

I felt Crappy before Cymbalta, and I feel evan worse from it! Now I not only have all the pain and uncomfortably symptoms, but my brain is also working so much slower! My choice to use Cymbalta was a Disparate attempt to regain evan a tiny bit of function and semblance of normalcy. It has been proving to be very LONG road to get back from the assault it had on my body, and it's almost ALL I can do to stay on the positive side of it. This was a BAD LESSON for me, and another GREAT Blow to my hope for healing! I suspect Seritonin Syndrome!

I was given a 60 mg cap which I open and muscle test. I get a Very clear amount every time, which seems to give me 3 days per capsule. =20mgs

The startup was a little rough but it has helped the mental side of it all for me. I only cried for 20 minutes after my first attack then got right back to work. Over time I'm thinking it might not always be this way but it was nice when it worked.

Not really sure if it really helped but I did notice an increase in migraines, lower sex drive and, since stopping, drive is back after a week! Not noticing depression or pain level getting worse. will know better later I think.
