did not find any difference in pain or inflammation, digestive issues were like taking the ibuprofen 800mg-after about a month blood in stool.

I don't know if this drug is addictive or not, I do know that I've tried taking one every other day and pain increases immediately. My prescription calls for 200 mg 2x per day I can usually get by with one but take the second capsule on days with extreme pain ( a 7 or above on a 1-10 scale).
My pain level is normally 3-5 daily and I find that level tolerable. I don't expect my medications to totally aleve pain but usually 200 mg of celebrex daily lets me move about and do simple household chores with periods of rest between periods of activity.
