I have noticed lately that I have been swaying from one leg to the other when standing. I seem to have boundless energy. I must also note that I have been stepping up my gym routine. I also am on Atkins. So, My weight loss is not from depression. But, right now I adore this medication. I am elated in every sense of the word. And I started it July 5th. I have another prescription to pick up but I have some left over from the previously discontinued round of therapy. Anyone else experiencing the swaying? It seems like I just always want to run. I weigh over 200 pounds. This is strange to me. Hopefully, I will not be so big for long. I welcome all comments and feedback!

I have 2 side effects that are wonderful with Wellbutrin XL. The first of which is it helped me to quit smoking over 3 years ago. I was taken off of this around the first of the year (2010) because my liver enzymes (ALT) were elevated. In May, I had a dream I was buying cigarettes and the next day the cravings were unbearable. I started to smoke again. I was given another persciption for Wellbutrin XL on July 5th, 2010. I am hopeful that it will help me again as it has done in the past.
The second side effect is having a higher sex drive. The Celebrex had diminished it a bit even though I am on a low dose. Other than the liver tests being elevated I have absolutely no issues being on this medication.

I initially asked Pdoc for this med to assist my stop smoking nicotine efforts.
The effects of the anti-anxiety component were noticeable behaviorally: symptoms reduced and intensity of symptoms lessened.
As far as helping with my depression, I have been without an episode of major depression for as long as I have been taking wellbutrin. I don't allocate all credit to this med. I take Pristiq also.
So, did it help me quit smoking? not yet.

I have noticed a more consistent level of lower anxiety on Wellbutrin. It has also noticeably helped decrease the depression a degree during episodes. I have also decreased my tabacco intake since taking .
The only reason I stopped the Aplenzin,was because my psychiatrist is no longer getting samples - he gave me samples. He has switched me to Wellbutrin XR

I can't really tell how much it helps, but I am much better than I used to be, so the efficacy may be higher than just slight
Very depressed, very tired, totally out of focus. No use taking an AD when it makes you more depressed, especially after 8 weeks. Went off of it cold turkey and never looked back.

This version of Wellbutrin drops out half way through the day and I get severe depression for about an hour then I go back to a low level depression. Helping remotely. Switched to Wellbutrin SR to level the med out throughout the day.
