I originally had ET and it has transformed into Parkinson, as diagnosed by my doctor. I am still having a problem accepting this. I had restless leg and was taking Ropinirole for that at night. She has just extending the dosage. I also had tremors when I wrote and head tremors. She is prescribing Topamax (changing to Zonisamide) for these. The propranalol worked best for me, but because of slow heart rate they will not prescribe now.

Over time I began to have obsessive thought and behavior patterns and my ankles began to swell. As the dosage has been reduced my aerobic breathing has returned to nearly the levels before I began taking medication. At 8 mg or more I was unable to swim the regular distances I had been swimming previously

I did well up until the 10 mg dose and then I began to feel worse. It is hard to directly link it to the dosage as a side effect. I'll reevaluate and see how I feel at 12 mg dosage.

There is no "cure" in taking these drugs, and for as long as I can, I'd rather be without. Trying to go along/manage by means of alternative nutrients and therapies

I had less pain in right leg and arm, and I was able to sleep during night. It has not however eliminated the pain in foot/toes and hand/fingers

I started having more off times. I started taking requip in 2004. It originally caused a lot of nausea, but I learned to time my dosages with when and what I ate. It also always caused a significant amount of fatigue.
