On the whole not a drug I would recomend and as I am now in my 60's with a chance of dementia which the FDA state a increased risk of death during treatment I am monitoring it. Also I am taking phenytoin and that is known to have adverse effects when taken along side with quetiapine.
There is no generic for seroquel so I was astounded to find out that a bottle of these pills costs about $600 without insurance. When my husband lost his job, we had to pay for cobra just to afford this medication. This medication manages my disorder completely. I would go on a more affordable medication if I didn't have a thyroid disorder so this is pretty much the only one I can use.
Very good med the only problem is very you can't afford it unless very rich or very poor. Cost is just ridicules I get the med however and whenever I can AZ and Me can help sometimes, put it on my part D right into the donut hole next 3 month order 1200. Living with it splitting pill more anxiety.

After 300 mgs of this drug I find myself to be itchy everywhere so I know I am allergiic just taking a smaller doseage... It does cause slight itching once in awhile... It does keep me from a lot of extra sensory that I cannot handle too much of anymore. I am thinking of stopping it altoghter though....

I am slightly allergic to it as with most drugs in the categories that would heal me. I get a bit of itching and redness on my palms since this medication was started.

I could not have a normal life without this medication. I would not be able to sleep or keep a sane mind. Any side affects have been of no consquence compared to the benefits I get. Before taking this med I was unable to sleep for days. My mind gets extremely restless, to put it mildly, causing me to feel like I'm going crazy. It has saved my marriage and, more importantly, my life.
