It was prescribed 4x per day, however I now take as needed and sometimes not even as much as needed to make sure it continues to work for me.

This medication has helped me with my feelings as they become overwhelming, or situations that I start to panic about as well as to sleep when my mind will not stop touching on everything and I can't stop it.

this medication controlls my anxiety and panic attacks. Without it I have shortness of breath, severe sweating, shaking, and my blood pressure goes through the roof. This is a must have medication for me, and because it is addictive I only take it when I have a full blown anxiety and panic attack. Since July 2009 I have taken 30 0.5 mg.

Worsened Depression symptoms after Daily use for 2 months, Cognitive Impairment, mild Inhibition of Recognition of Passage of Time, overall, Xanax was quite helpful, the benefits far outweighed the negatives. It is most helpful for less than 4 weeks of use, after use for multiple months, It starts to cause significantly more negative side effects, and generally worsens all symptoms. Short term use is much more beneficial.
