Advice & Tips
I was started on this medication due to I was on coumadin for a time for a blood clot I had July 2009. I couldn't take anything else except for Celebrex and it actually has been helpful somewhat in my pain & inflammation. I still am very stiff when I wake up, though. Nothing much changes that! But overall, it does a better job than ibuprofen with managing pain of the RA.
Celebrex was taken for arthritis. Due to concerns about Celebrex, Dr.removed this medicine and added Cymbalta.

Advice & Tips
After years of using and anti-inflammatory, my MD has stopped prescribbing this drug. Not having any problems with drug, Doctor is telling me HE doesn't think I need it. I am currently looking for new MD.
Don't take it if you have bad side effects. I switched to Mobic and have no bad side effects unless I take the 15mg. (high) dose for more than a few months...then I get gastrointestinal distress. On the 7.5mg. dose I have no bad side effects, and can even add another 1/2 of the 7.5mg. pill at another time of day.
