Advice & Tips
We're on the 3-monts on, 3-months off cycle. We just stopped. We had a really bad yeast dieoff when starting. Lots of behaviors, horrible inattention. It lasted a few days, but then things got better. Have things improved since then? Well, we haven't seen any huge gains since restarting the sac b, as some report. Attention is still a pretty big issue. I'm not entirely positive we'll start the next cycle. I might need to see some real proof of yeast overgrowth before doing that.

Advice & Tips
When we started our son on Saccharomyces boulardii, we noticed a big increase in language and better bowels. We started it around the time we started the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and ABA therapy, so we're not sure where to give the credit. But this definitely helped. The new DAN! physician we met yesterday told us that this is meant to be used in "bursts" like an antibiotic. Having him on it for so long would do more harm than good. We're stopping it now to save it for later "bursts".
